CrimeStoppers seeks more info on January robbery

CrimeStoppers is asking for more information from the public that could assist police investigating a robbery and theft in the Rum Point area on 11 January.

In the incident, a man, 77, from the U.S. was punched in the face and he and his companions were robbed at knifepoint. Money, jewelry and electronics were taken, and it is believed at least some of what was stolen remains unrecovered even after the arrest the following week of a Bodden Town man.

Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $8,000 for information that can give police more information about the crime. Tipsters can remain anonymous by calling a free, local phone number 800-TIPS (8477) or going to .
