Keeping people in jobs

Ready 2 Work KY is getting ready to roll out next month.

The employment programme will look to place out of work Caymanians in internships or apprenticeships with businesses. If a business is interested, they can apply for a subsidy from government to help pay the person for six months and should show they are willing to keep the person on longer.

Dr. Tasha Ebanks Garcia, Deputy Chief Advisor of Strategic Reforms, appeared on this week’s The Panel.
