Scholars rolls past CASC as Premier League play resumes

Rolly Bodden scored twice and Scholars International got goals from three others as it rolled past Cayman Athletic Sports Club 28 February in Cayman Islands Football Association Premier League play.

Bodden converted a penalty four minutes into play after being tackled hard in the box. That ended up being the winner.

Maynor Rodriguez made it 2-0 in the 33rd when he came storming into the box unmarked on a corner kick and struck a right-footer on the fly past the keeper and to the corner of the goal.

Bodden’s second score of the game came three minutes later and Kiegel Atkinson’s strike in the 44th made it 4-0 heading into the half. Rodrick Pearson made it 5-0 in the 53rd minute while Stephen Tatum scored once for CASC in the 90th.

In the day’s other games, Mark Ebanks’ brace led Rlite to a 4-2 win over Sunset. Roma beat Bodden Town 1-0 and Academy topped George Town 2-1 on Jonah Ebanks’ winner in the 83rd.
