Football’s world governing body plans to release several recommendations on how to better run the Cayman Islands Football Association.
Members of FIFA’s Consolidation and Compliance Committee teammed up with private sector auditors recently to visit CIFA’s headquarters, in Prospect. FIFA plans to soon release several points advising CIFA in matters of governance, policy and procedure and finances, according to a press release from CIFA.
CIFA says it awaits the recommendations as a matter of urgency.
It marks the third visit from FIFA officials to CIFA in the past two-and-a-half months.
