Wind-aided Gatlin cruises to win at Chris Brown Invite

American Justin Gatlin raced to a wind-aided first-place finish in the 100 over the weekend at the Chris Brown Bahamas Invitational.

Gatlin finished the race in 9.90 seconds, which would have been the fastest time in the world this year save for the illegal wind speed of 2.3 miles per hour. As it stands, Gatlin’s is the fastest wind-aided 100-metres time in 2016.
