Five cars crash in the centre of George Town and everyone walked away with hardly a scratch.
Police were called to Eastern Avenue after reports of a multi-vehicle car crash in a car park Friday (13 May). It appears one of the cars involved went into the side of a barber store. Here is what one eye witness had to say:
“Well boss, we stand up on the plaza, we wait upon Genius, Brodrick and all the barbers them to give us some trim. Me and my friend, we were just on our way from work. Standing on the marl, when we look out on the street, we saw this wide truck, wheeling, skidding, spinning over the back on the parking lot. I said to my bredrin run, he said no I’m not running, I said run. So he ran, he ran and went upon the main road and the car nearly licked him and he ran coming back, the truck hit one vehicle and span round and lick two more and my boy jumped over the vehicle, truck still spin in the parking lot. Genius, the original girl trim up, line up the girls eyelashes, Genius turn to me and say Gobi, run! I said no I’m going to wait for my barber Brodrick because Brodrick trim me every week,” said Gobi Golbourne, eye witness.
We contacted police who told us no one needed hospital treatment.
