Fresh off his Cayman Invitational victory, Usain Bolt blazed a trail on the 100 meter sprints in the Czech Republic today (May 20)
At the sound of the gun, Bolt was off to a beautiful start, so too was Barbados’ Ramon Gittens. For the first 20 meters is was a neck to neck sprint, between Bolt and Gittens, but Bolt threw it into high gear at the 50 meter mark, securing first place with half the race to go. He finished strong with a time of 9.98. Gittens took second and crossed the line 0.23 behind Bolt.
