Budget gets green light

The UK gives the thumbs up to the Progressives-led administration’s 18-month budget.

This will also be the last time government needs to get approval from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) before bringing the spending plan before the Legislative Assembly.

The budget will be presented next Monday. It’s expected to project a surplus of more than $40 million.
