Jamaican sprinter Elaine Thompson topped a tough field over the weekend to take first place in the women’s 100-metre dash at the IAAF Diamond League meet, in Rabat, Morocco.

Thompson beat the likes of American Carmelita Jeter and set a new meet record in the process after she crossed in 11.02 seconds.

That’s tied for the seventh-fastest time in the world this year.
