Changing the cola tide

American businessman Roger Enrico was not a household name, but in corporate and marketing circles, he was a pioneer who embodied the big thinking of the big 80’s.

At the time, he was in charge at Pepsi, the soft drink company that lagged way behind its rival, Coca-Cola.

Up stepped Mr. Enrico and, with a little help from people who were household names, the cola tide began to change.

Marketing expert Rob Martin from Fountainhead joins Pat Kreitlow to discuss in more detail, just how important Mr. Enrico was, in the business world before his untimely passing in Cayman Wednesday (1 June)
