Veteran sprinter Kim Collins of St Kitts and Nevis was leading the men’s 100 metres 9 June at the Oslo Diamond League meet when he broke down with an injury that left him hobbling over the line in last place.

Canada’s Andre de Grasse, who won the 200 metres at the Diamond League meeting in Birmingham at the weekend, won in 10.07 seconds from US pairing Mike Rodgers and Dentarius Locke.

After the race, Collins’ wife told reporters it was just cramps and not anything more serious.
