A CUC worker tells a court Thursday (9 June) a man charged with grievous bodily harm, did nothing to help a woman he’s accused of running over in his high-powered car.

Lawyer Simon Courtney denies two counts of GBH, dangerous driving and reckless driving.

During his trial Thursday (9 June) the jury heard evidence from Ricardo Heron, who was working on West Bay Road on the day of the crash in January last year.

He said he saw a car driving very fast towards West Bay, veer into oncoming traffic, before spinning and hitting a wall by the Villas of the Gallion complex.

Mr. Heron said he and colleagues went to help those injured… And he saw the driver of the vehicle talking on a cell phone.

He said at no point did that man come across to help the injured couple. The trial continues.
