Strength in numbers can help any small business do a little more. Even musicians.

Cayman’s music scene is growing, as the Cayman Music Collective help provide more venues and coordinate performance times. It gives local musicians, young and old, emerging and established, an opportunity to entertain the public and make some money at it.

“People who are coming to the venues to perform, they get paid and therefore we are creating employment. That is true, our aim, our real aim is to celebrate music in cayman. Now if someone comes along and says, I’m a local, I want to play music, we are more than happy to give them a stage. If they need help, we’ll help them with the music, if they need guitar training, if they need bass training and need support we will do that because our aim is to create a vibrant musical culture here,” said Cayman Music Collective’s Will Doran.
