The jury in the trial of a man accused of grievous bodily harm, visited the scene of the crash Friday (10 June).
Two people were seriously injured after they were hit by a car on West Bay Road last year.
The judge and jury, along with court staff and barristers wehre taken to where the crash happened and to the Ritz-Carlton hotel where the accused had been earlier that day.
Lawyer Simon Courtney did not take part in the site visit.
He denies two counts of GBH, one charge of dangerous driving and an alternative charge of reckless driving.
The jury heard from crash reconstruction expert Colin Redden who said he used CCTV footage to calculate the average speed Mr. Courtney was driving his Mustang Shelby GT 500, which he said was 37 miles per hour.
The trial continues next week.
