More than a dozen would-be “jukebox heroes” will battle for lip syncing supremacy at a fun charity event.
Keep Calm and Paddle On’s lip sync fundraiser is happening Friday night at the Harquail theatre.
The event itself promises to be a lighthearted night of fun and laughter for everyone involved, but the money raised will be a serious boost for two island charities.
The event raising funds for the NCVO Foster Home and the Special Needs Foundation.
“So many kids out there struggle and need a lot of help, whether they are from broken homes or they were born with a medical condition. There are just too many of them and we are trying to do what we can to help that situation out a little bit,” said KCPO’s Nik Tatarkin.
Doors open at the Harquail theater at 5:30pm for a happy hour with live music. The competition starts at 7:30. Tickets are $25 and include two welcome drinks and two votes for the best performances.
Cayman 27’s Joe Avary will be there to introduce all the lip-syncing stars.
