We’ve all heard the saying “communication is key” and it appears Government is taking that message to heart.
A training session for the heads of various agencies brought everyone together under one roof last week.
It was an opportunity for them to share experiences and ask questions while helping to formulate policies and new regulations.

“Now in the normal course of business, what course would the pension office have to talk with border control, probably very limited if any, opportunity to talk with each other. By bringing them together, both involved in regulation but very different types of regulation, they have the opportunity to share the lessons that each has learnt, share them with the other party,” said Ian Rennie, the training consultant and also a former senior civil servant in the UK.

Those who pass the workshop will receive an internationally recognised certificate in management and leadership in international regulatory affairs.
