Samuels’ century puts Windies in position to advance in Tri-Nations

Marlon Samuels smashed 125 and Denesh Ramdin added 91 more to lead the West Indies to 282 for eight in their Tri-Nations Series match with Australia 21 June, in Bridgetown.

A win in the match would clinch the Caribbean side a spot in the tournament finals.

At air time, Australia needs 238 more runs with eight wickets and 42 overs remaining to catch the Windies’ total.

Samuels and Ramdin partnered for a fourth-wicket partnership of 192.
