A record 1,000 swimmers dove in Saturday (11 June) for the 24th-annual Flowers One Mile Sea Swim.
Making the trek from the Ritz-Carlton to Royal Palms, swimmers and on-lookers helped once-again create an atmosphere that has helped the event become one of the most popular on the local sports calendar.
It’s one event where some of the world’s best in that sport compete right along side swimmers just doing it for a laugh. It’s all for a good cause, too, as proceeds this year go to the Cayman Islands Cancer Society.
Cayman 27 crews were there to catch all the action and bring you and sights and sounds.
