With social media power comes social responsibility

Police said why they felt it necessary to use such force, and the suspect remains on police bail.

But one thing this whole case did highlight, was the power of social media.

Within hours of police firing their electronic weapons, the video was uploaded on Facebook. It’s already been viewed more than 46,000 and shared over and over again.

So just how big a part does social media play in everyday life?

Marketing expert Rob Martin who knows all to well the power of social media, but with that power surely must come responsibility.
