Amazon Warriors stay undefeated in CPLT20 play

Jason Mohammed smashed an unbeaten 43 while teammates Dwayne Smith and Chris Lynn did their parts as the Guyana Amazon Warriors stayed undefeated in the Caribbean Premier League Tuesday (12 July) with an eight-wicket win over the St. Lucia Zouks.

The Warriors won the toss and chose to field.

Bowler Sohail Tanvir dismissed the Zouks openers in the first over as Johnson Charles was caught out for a duck and Shane Watson was bowled for two runs.

Mohammed earned Man of the Match honours for his work in the chase while Smith reached 32 and Lynn 38. The Amazon Warriors reached the Zouks total of 138 with 16 balls to spare.
