Cayman golfers finish 1-2 in age group at Caribbean junior championships

Cayman Islands golfers finished first and second place in the 11-to-13 year old age group at the Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships.

Aaron Jarvis shot 224 over three rounds to win the group. That’s the third-lowest score at the tournament.

Justin Hastings, meanwhile, was right in the hunt to win it before shooting a third-round 83 and placing second in the division with a total of 229. His was the fifth-lowest score of the tournament.

Andrew Jarvis finished tied for 11th in the boys 17-and-under class. Joe Purton took 20th in that same age group.

Joe Ribbins finished 16th in the boys 15-and-under class while Holly McLean took 12th in the girls 11-to-13 year old division.
