Cayman’s Under-17 Boys National Football Team left for Florida 12 July where players will go through a final week of training camp ahead of the Caribbean Football Union World Cup qualifiers.
The 24-players will train and play warm-up matches outside of Jacksonville. Coaches need to cut the roster to 20 players before the tournament.
Former Cayman Islands football technical director Carl Brown has set up several practice games for the squad.
The Cayman Islands hosts Group 2 of the CFU tournament next week.
Cayman opens play at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday (20 July) versus Aruba before playing Puerto Rico at 7:30 p.m. on Friday (22 July) and Haiti at 7:30 p.m. (24 July). All matches are set to be held at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex.
