Economy on the rise

Even though the data shows Cayman’s economy is on the rise some are still having difficulty covering all of their costs. The ESO’s latest report says Cayman’s gross domestic product rose by two percent last year and as the economy thrived, house holds were also spending more.
In fact an estimated 1.7 billion dollars was seen in household consumption expenditure last year. Despite the impressive figures some everyday shoppers say their dollars don’t always stretch, even in the good times.
