Former liquidator volunteers to go to jail

A former liquidator accused of stealing five hundred thousand dollars from a client’s fund has volunteered to go to jail.

Robert Aspinall has not yet formally entered a plea, but on Friday 22 July he surrendered himself to custody.

He faces fourteen charges including theft, forgery and money laundering. Mr. Aspinall will be sentenced later this month.
