Political aide to the Premier, Frank Cornwall said he is planning on running in the upcoming elections.
Mr. Cornwall was joined by other members of the Rockhole community in George Town as well as other political candidates who offered helping hands in sanitizing the community.
Mr Cornwall said his inclusion is about offering as much help as possible.
“As a leader in the community and I’m also a possible representative in the upcoming elections and my people have been asking me for assistance and for me assistance is giving them as much help as possible and what better way can I give help in the community than to do a clean up,” Mr. Cornwall said.
Mr. Cornwall said he and others have spearheaded the cleanup through the Department of Children and Family Services while prison officials said the George Town Beautification Committee also played a vital role in making the clean up possible.
Seven inmates from the Northward Prison were present in helping with the clean up.
