Social media is now turning us into a world of watchdogs.
You might have seen on Facebook today, a video said to be of a man attempting to break into a George Town apartment.

This video picked up a lot of traction by citizens sharing it across social media.
Andreas Kettner is no stranger to break-in’s, so he installed a security camera to protect his property, and now he can use the video as evidence or to warn his neighbours.

“I wanted everybody in the area to know, okay, this guy is here, he sneaks around at night, he’s trying to go through open doors and open windows and we had a similar incident about two weeks ago, so, that’s why,” said video watchdog, Andreas Kettner.

Well over a-hundred shares and dozens of comments have accompanied this video to computers and phone screens around Grand Cayman.
As police often say, you can leave an anonymous tip about crime at 800-tips, that’s 800-8477.
