Alex Robertson scored four tries to lead the Cayman Islands to a 45-12 win over Turks & Caicos in its Rugby Americas North Under-19 Championship opener in Miramar, Florida.

Matteo Pollini, Finn Galway, Maurice McLaughlin and Trey Milgate each added one try for Cayman while Zach Hutchinson converted a penalty and added two conversions.

Cayman now faces Mexico 13 July in its pool play finale. The winner of that match will advance through to the tournament’s cup championship match.

Pollini opened scoring just five minutes in before Hutchinson’s penalty made it 8-0 at the nine-minute mark.

Turks and Caicos closed the gap to 13-5 at one point before Hutchinson scored the first of his tries and Cayman never looked back.
