Ross hangs with leaders at Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships

Cayman Islands golfer Brian Ross continues to hang around with the tournament leaders after two rounds at the 2016 Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships, in the Bahamas.

Ross shot a 1-under par 71 Wednesday (27 July) for a two-round total of 145. He hit four second-round birdies and now is tied for seventh overall in the race for the Hoerman Cup.

Peyton Wight is in 22nd place with a two-round total of 151. He shot a 2-over par 74 in the second round.

Joel Dodson is tied for 33rd overall at 158. He took 10 strokes off his round one score in round two.

Michael Wight is tied for 36th after two rounds, while Andrew Jarvis is tied for 40th and Philip Wight 43rd.
