Second tourist water-related death in a week

For the second time this week, an American tourist has died in our waters.

Police say in Bodden Town Wednesday 19 July, a 61-year-old visitor was snorkelling near Frederick Beach when he encountered difficulties around 2 pm. People present administered CPR until emergency services arrived.

The man was taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

On Sunday morning (17 July), an elderly American man died while scuba diving near Sunset House.
