Stingray Swim Club hands out annual awards

Stingray Swim Club recently held its annual awards ceremony to honour its top athletes.

Picking up Spirit and Sportsmanship Awards in their respective divisions were Jorian Neblett (Bronze), Kylie Porter (Silver), Jake Bailey (Gold), Alex Dakers (Senior) and Cole Morgan (High Performance).

Most Improved Swimmer awards went to Malcolm Hill (Bronze), Kyra Rabess (Silver), Katriona Williams (Gold), Kenneth Glidden (Senior) and Sarah Jackson (High Performance).

The inaugural High School Development Group Award for Commitment and Enthusiasm was given to Anthony Christian.

The Shepheard Cup — given for enthusiasm and passion over performance — was given to Ria Plunkett.

Parent Volunteers of the Year are Penny McDowall, Linda Key, Joel Neblett and Tracey-Ann Lawla.
