The lifestyle of glitz and glamor may be the future for these young film makers.

Last night at the Harquail Theatre, the finalists for the young image makers film competition got the opportunity to share their short films to their friends and family and Hollywood directors and movie stars.
Local director Frank E. Flowers shares with us the importance of getting the youth involved with film at a young age.
“These kids are literally our future and the future of art and filmmaking and  I’m excited to support that and that effort and you know the cultural foundation is such a wonderful place that I got my start working with the cultural foundation, the Harquail Theatre, so it’s great to be back here to support these kids who are so talented and inspiring and you know, whatever we can do to keep them going, we got to encourage them and they are going to grow up to be great story tellers and filmmakers,” said Local Director, Frank E. Flowers.

Cayfilm kicks off this weekend from Friday to Monday, bringing well-known actors and actresses from Hollywood to the shores of Cayman.
It’s an event that is being reported in American magazines.
