Driver flees accident scene on foot

A female driver ran from the scene of an accident last night.

Police said the crash took place last night along Bodden Town road.

Both vehicles were headed to the direction of George Town, when one driver tried to overtake the other while it was turning onto cherry drive.

After the crash the female driver who was attempting to overtake continued and slammed into a utility pole breaking it off.

Police said the 34-year-old woman, left the scene on foot while the other driver was a 68-year-old man.

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (R.C.I.P.S) said no one was hurt in the collision.

Caribbean Utilities Company (CUC) Fire and Police personnel attended the scene and the
police said they are still investigating the accident.
