Migrants sent back to Cuba

Six migrants were sent back to Cuba this week.

The Department of Immigration confirms the three men and three women were flown to Havana on Monday (17 August). Currently, there are still 83 migrants housed at various facilities around the island.

Government says most of them are at the Immigration Detention Centre in Fairbanks.
