Teenagers had a five-day summer camp at the Family Resource Centre and are basking into the knowledge of using information learnt to combat issues of bullying, respect for persons with disabilities, gender inequality and teen pregnancy.

The camp is called “Rethink Teen” and Acting Programmes Manager at the Family Resource Centre Charmaine Miller said the camp is focused on exactly what the theme of the camp suggests.

“Rethinking what it is to be a teenager and empowering them in terms of saying you too have a purpose you know and you’ve got great potential and why not start using it today,” Ms. Miller said.
Cayman 27’s Mario Grey caught up with the young boys and girls who shared their experiences and plans after camp.
