School concerns dissected

On this episode of the panel, the plan of action to tackle the issues facing Cayman’s schools.

A mutli-pronged approach is underway to enhance the education system. From behavioural concerns to the need to improve literacy and numeracy, to the call for more technical and vocational programmes, the ministry says it is moving to gain a better grade.

We also address concerns from parents about the facilities and resources themselves.

We speak with Education Minister Hon. Tara Rivers on this episode.

Tammi Sulliman is a Caribbean journalist with more than 15 years in the industry. Her roots steeped in print journalism, she made the transition to television in 2007. A reporter and talk show host in the Cayman Islands, she has focused on political and social issues affecting the community.
