Scuba diving history will soon be on display at the Cayman Islands National Museum.

The International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame told Cayman 27 plans are coming along to establish a permanent physical museum, one of the organization’s long-term objectives.
But over Thanksgiving weekend, the ISDHOF is partnering with the National Museum to celebrate this year’s inductees with a temporary exhibit.

“We’re actually going to have two rooms at the Cayman Islands museum for the hall of fame, so there will be one for the international inductees, and one room for the local honourees as well, so that’s all happening right now, it’s a wonderful looking display in its initial stages and we’re really excited about it,” said ISDHOF board member Rod McDowell.
