The UK’s new minister for Overseas Territories has begun her first tour since taking the post, beginning in the Sister Islands.

The Right Honourable Baroness Anelay of St. John’s started her day with a tour of Little Cayman, including the Central Caribbean Marine Institute.

She, along with the Governor, the premier, and deputy premier, also visited the National Trust and then flew on to Cayman Brac, making her the first minister in her post to visit all three of our islands.

On Tuesday (4 October), the baroness is back on Grand Cayman to address the Legislative Assembly and to make several visits and meetings that include law enforcement, tourism, disability policy and the financial services industry.
