A story that set social media abuzz on Sunday about sweeping immigration changes between Cayman and Jamaica was not true.
The Office of the Premier had to get involved and put the brakes on the rumors Sunday calling “nonsense” a story that claimed Government would waive work permit fees and re-instate a “no visa” policy for Jamaican travelers.
Again, the Premier’s Office said, “there has been no discussion at caucus or at Cabinet with regards to such a change, and the false article is mischievous and people should not be fooled by it.”
