The West Indies women Monday (10 October) pulled even in their One Day International series with touring England by beating the tourists by 38 runs at Trelawny Stadium, in Jamaica.
The Caribbean side won the toss and elected to bat.
Stafanie Taylor’s half-century paced the Windies, who finished all out for 148.
In the chase, Evra Giddings dismissed England opener Lauren Winfield for two runs.
The tourists did get back on track thanks tot he middle of their order, but the hosts took the final seven wickets over a span of seven overs and England’s collapse clinched the win for the Windies.
Deandra Dottin claimed four of those late scalps to win it for West Indies.
The third of five ODI matches begins Friday (14 October).
