Activist Ebanks accused of forgery

Consumer activist George Ebanks is accused of altering an official document while doing work permit paperwork for a business client. He made an appearance in Summary Court on Tuesday (22 November) on three charges: forgery of an official document, using an endorsement on a document which has been forged or altered, and making a false representation.

Mr. Ebanks is accused of altering a date on a client’s trade and business licence document in order to facilitate a work permit application for one of the client’s employees.

He will next appear in court on 13 December.
