Breeze 5K run/walk raises money for primary schools and non-profit

The NCVO, East End Primary School and the Edna Moyle Primary School in North Side benefited from donations of $2,000 each raised from the Breeze Fusion 5K over the weekend.

Jason Saunders claimed the title, crossing the finish line in 17:29.92, is also gearing up for the Intertrust Half Marathon in December and recently won the Fidelity Fun Run Series.

The top three males were Jason Saunders (with a time of 17:29.92), followed by Levi Superville (19:22.45) and Paul Williams (20:11.65). The top three females were Catherine Conway (19:03.78), Carmen Cagabcab (25:32.38) and Laurie Bilovesky (25:35.48).

Jade Webster has rejoined the Cayman 27 Team as Sports Reporter/ Producer in August 2016. Jade has a background in News and has developed a passion for Sports while covering international Games. Jade was one of 35 Young Reporters selected worldwide to be apart of the Young Reporters Programme by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) at the Second Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China. She was awarded the 'Best IOC Young Reporter', and went on to cover the Second Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lilehammer, Norway. Jade was also selected as a Young Reporter in 2015 to cover the Toronto Pan American Games, where she was awarded a Hockey Stick for her hard-work and dedication. She graduated with honors in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Florida
