And Opposition Leader Hon. McKeeva Bush says he will be meeting with church leaders this week to resume their gang intervention meetings in West Bay….
Last year the West Bay MLA  partnered with the churches vowing to go into the community and meet with gang members to root out criminal activity.
However acting Police Commissioner Anthony Ennis contends nothing came out of those meetings while Mr Bush insists the gang interventions took place and peace was kept
“Because some of the churches went in and some of the pastors went into the areas and talk to people, sure they did and all that helped. But we did not, we do not need to be in the front page and we do not need to be in the television, we do not need to be on the front page. We need to get to the people,” Mr Bush says.

The Opposition Leader says there are members of the community who are aware of gang activity and he’s urging to report it to the police to stop the spiral and keep the peace.
