It’s now legal to use cannabis oil in Cayman.
Government this week gazetted regulation changes paving the way for doctors and pharmacies to import and prescribe medicinal cannabis oil.
It’s derived from extracts from the marijuana plant and is said to possibly assist in reversing cancer and relieving pain, although that’s still not a scientific consensus.
The regulations make its use legal but doctors, pharmacists and potential users are still looking into questions surrounding sources of a legal and stable cannabis oil supply.
