More than 200 hundred high school and college  students  were at UCCI today to look at the employment opportunities available to them when they complete their studies.

Public and private sector employers gave students an understanding of the different jobs that each has to offer and a rundown on the requirements to obtain this position.

“This is a great opportunity for them to meet their future employers and because of this, they are able to say, this is what I am interested in and have a liaison person that they can link with, so that they can build their footing in the industry,” said Dr. O’Neil Duncan, Principal of Cayman Academy and also an event organizer.

“Cayman you don’t really think there is a broad space for jobs or anything, but, this job fair shows you how broad Cayman’s industries are,” said UCCI Student, Jesper Varrozo.
Internship opportunities in certain fields were offered for those finishing highschool or in college.
