West Indies captures first win

West Indies captured their first win over Sri Lanka in the 2nd match of the Tri-Nation series in Zimbabwe.

The Windies were led by Jonathan Carter who finished with 54 runs. With West Indies all out for 227 runs after losing their last five wickets for 18 runs, Sri Lanka struggled to chase down the target and were bowled out for 165 off 43.1 overs.

Sri Lanka beat hosts Zimbabwe in the opening match of the series earlier in the week.

The rest of the series now decamps to Bulawayo, where the West Indies will play Zimbabwe at Queens Sports Club on Saturday,19 November. .
