Windies women preparation for India

The West Indies Women’s cricket team completed their first training session as they kick off preparation for their limited overseas against India women.

The Windies clash with India in three One Day Internationals (ODI) from November 10-16 and will follow up with three Twenty20 Internationals from November 18 – 22.

The West Indies Women are currently ranked third in the championship on 22 points one behind the second place England women and eight adrift of leaders Australia. India are sixth on 13 points.

The top four in the championship will automatically qualify for next years ICC Women’s 50-overs World Cup in England.

She graduated with honors in Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Florida
