Today is recognised as Women’s Entrepreneurship Day and this is the first time it’s being recognised in the Cayman Islands.

Minister of Gender Affairs Tara Rivers met with business women today to share experiences and become inspired by fellow entrepreneurs.

“Today’s gonna be a very informative day, it’s going to be a day to celebrate women entrepreneurs but also to learn from and hopefully to inspire other women who may be thinking about becoming entrepreneurs,” Minister Rivers said.

The Minister said women of all different levels of experience are at the conference and said the forum is ideal for women looking to become their own bosses.
