Farmers’ Market birthday coming up

The Farmers Market near the Smith Road Cricket Pitch will become a year old on Saturday (Dec 10) and organisers at the market will celebrate the first anniversary with the

“Cayman Christmas Bazaar.”

Farmers’ Market Operator Mr. Hamlin Stephenson said celebrating the first anniversary is his way of saying the farm is here to stay.

“The market is here to stay, the market is not going any place and it’s a great pleasure as I said earlier for us to serve the community we just want them to know that we are here to serve them we are not here to go any place,” Mr. Stephenson said.

The Bazaar is expected to be child-friendly with a visit from Santa at 9 a.m., Bouncing Castles, Music and raffles.
