Penalties introduced for late tobacco registration

If you sell cigarettes or any kind of tobacco product then you need to be aware of the new regulation that have come into effect.
You have a year to get a licence, but if you are late you will be penalised up to 200 percent of the registration fee.

That’s the maximum penalty under the new penalty regime introduced last month.

Health Councillor Roy McTaggart explained how this will work when he sat down with Tammi Sulliman on the couch on last night.
