St. Ignatius christmas concert reeled in funds

St. Ignatius hosted its annual Christmas concert last night which is the school biggest annual fundraiser.

The room was filled with people who came out to treat their ears right with the singing of Christmas hymns supporting the school’s band and choir.
Community Coordinator at St. Ignatius Jeremy Rice said the money raised from the event goes to helping families at the school with scholarship opportunities.

“We donate some to charity here on Grand Cayman and the Brac so we’re just thrilled that every body supports it year after year the added bonus of course is the fantastic music performed by the school bands and choir tonight,” Mr. Rice said.

He said typically the school aims at raising around 75-thousand dollars each year which he said is generally successful.
